Frank Lloyd Wright in Paris
I'm in Paris at the moment about to board a jet to Biarritz and the weather turned cold. I'm thinking of my family and a sunny three day weekend at home (that I am missing) and fond memories of the Biltmore in Arizona popped in my head. Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural signature is something mythical even surrounded by Paris' old world beauty...there must be some concrete connection.

We are not two we are one
Where are you going I don't mind
I've killed my world and I've killed my time
So where do I go what do I see
I see many people coming after me
So where are you going to I don't mind
If I live too long I'm afraid I'll die
So I will follow you wherever you go
If your offered hand is still open to me
Strangers on this road we are on
We are not two we are one
So you've been where I've just come
From the land that brings losers on
So we will share this road we walk
And mind our mouths and beware our talk
'Till peace we find tell you what I'll do
All the things I own I will share with you
If I feel tomorrow like I feel today
We'll take what we want and give the rest away
Strangers on this road we are on
We are not two we are one
Holy man and holy priest
This love of life makes me weak at my knees
And when we get there make your play
'Cos soon I feel you're gonna carry us away
In a promised lie you made us believe
For many men there is so much grief
And my mind is proud but it aches with rage
And if I live too long I'm afraid I'll die
Strangers on this road we are on
We are not two we are one
Strangers on this road we are on
We are not two we are one

Firstpoint Psychonauts
I used to click on a button that took me into Trace Marshall's mind every day, but then one day something happened, and that button clicked me to nothingness. Now the original T-Bone is back at it again with something softer - something far more romantic and cultured. He's traveling the world, making movies, exposing his true feelings, collaborating with international art superstars and twisting that beautiful mug of his every way it will go. His hair looks better than ever and this time there is far less of the immature surfing stuff. Even the spelling is better! In a Nuts-shell, Trace has become a man! The hardest thing about not getting to see him everyday is no longer. Click on to Firstpoint and slice off a piece at your leisure. Welcome home Trace.

While we're on the subject...
I don't normally post two surf pics in a row, but this one deserves an honorable mention. The photo is by Pat Stacy and the accompanying text read..."This is Rasta riding an Alaia board and the turn came out of nowhere. I don't know if anyone had done a turn like that on one of those boards until that moment."

Dane Peterson on a Sunday Morning...
I'm sitting on the couch, dreaming of being anywhere else...this shot of Harrison Roach in the Mentawai Islands by Dane got the juices flowing. Dane's got many more daydream inducing images on his fancy website. Dane, when are we doing a show??? Just pick the date dude...
