Saturdays (In California)

I'm not sure if Kate Spade or that shop on Crosby Street was first, but I can assure you that Korean born "Saturday's in California" was the original 'cause this shirt (from the 70's) with Conjunction Junction inspired artwork is just too damn fresh to not have inspired the whole thing... and that size denoting capital 'M' is so damn good!

And Floyd's twill Penny's shirt has the most beautiful branding I ever did see...

Long before the "Chris Brown Wrap Around" at Rincon, these Roundhouse Brand overalls were stylishly strapping American youngsters everywhere.  And Hannah's insistent purchasing habits of great overalls (big and small) every Sunday has inspired me to create an entire book based SPECIFICALLY on overall branding.  Yes, I am adding this to the must-do list immediately.  Stay tuned for the "to-be-published-on" date...

Marilyn Ann Kaecke never loses her Penneys extra large undershirt and Chuck Quinn's Linn's of Honolulu twill trunks are always returned when lost after a big night in Waikiki.  The affluent always have time to hand sew their names into their favorite garments.  Or the help does it just fine...

I had to take out a loan to invest in these Foremost by J.C.P. CO vintage jeans complete with a user-friendly zipper fly and signature yellow selvage, come on! Absolutely perfect... worth every penny!
